“X-Girl”, Women’s Streetwear At It’s Finest
Ladies, stand up!
Here to jump-start our week is “X-Girl”, a brand that has made a huge impact on the entire streetwear community.
What started as a shirt in 1994 has since transitioned into entire collections, all centered around the inclusiveness of women in fashion. Ever since the beginning, streetwear has forced women to wear sizes intended for men, leaving them with over-sized clothes and undesirable outfits. In fact, with such lack of products available on the market, many women completely disregard streetwear as a wearable form of fashion.
However, with brands like “X-Girl”, such times are changing. To understand how this brand represents the female streetwear demographic, swipe through the photos above and take a look at some of their products.
As you can tell, the creatives at “X-Girl” do a fabulous job at creating women’s apparel that fits the mold of ‘streetwear’. Such stylistics allow women the opportunity to compete with the streetwear community without having to showcase their body to do so.
Honestly, “X-Girl” is one of the best things to ever happen to the streetwear industry.
Kim, Daisy, thank you for changing the world. Can’t wait to see what the future holds for you and your brand.
